About
Diode Press is a small printmaking studio in Columbus, Ohio, built around one idea: printmaking should feel approachable, not intimidating. I design and make tools that help you get there.
Why I started Diode Press
I've been printmaking since college, back in 2007, and I've been making prints ever since. Along the way, I built my own tools, jigs, and workarounds just to solve problems in my own studio.
Eventually I decided to refine those tools and share them with other printmakers. Everything I make comes out of my own shop, shaped with CNC machines, 3D printers, a laser cutter, and a good amount of hands-on work.

Meet Graham
Printmaker & Designer
I'm Graham, a printmaker and designer in Columbus, Ohio.
The registration jig came first. I built it for my own bench because I was tired of misaligned prints and wasted paper. It worked better than I expected, so I kept going.
Every tool here started as something I needed and couldn't find. I design and test each one before it goes to the shop. If I wouldn't use it myself, it doesn't get listed.
If you're into linocut, block printing, or just getting your hands inky, you're in the right place.
